Fuel tank re-born/Benzintank újjászületés

After some months I managed to had the fuel tank repaired. First I had to find some guy who can weld the aluminium tank, since it had a big whole on it. Meanwhile I found it out, that the color of the original tank could be orange, so vote for this color. And here is the result. Currently I am trying to find out what kind of decal was on the tank.

Néhány hónap utánajárás után végre sikerült a tankot megjavíttatni és lefestettni. Nagy nehezen találtam valakit, aki szépen tudott alumíniumot heggeszteni, így ő szépen befoltozta a tankot. Közben kiderítettem, hogy az eredeti tank színe az narancssárga lehetett, így szép narancssárga színt kapott a tank. Most annak próbálok utánajárni, hogy milyen felirat lehetett annak idején a tankon.

Cylinders/Hengerek

Some progress again: I managed to clean and re-paint the cylinders. Here is the result.

Most ennyit sikerült csak haladnom: letisztítottam a hengereket es lefújtam őket feketére. Íme itt az eredmény.

Flywheel/Lendkerék

And the flywheel is also ready: it got some nickel as it was in the original motor. See the difference:

A lendkerék szintén elkészült: nikkelborítást kapott, mint ahogy az eredeti motoron is volt. Nézd a különbséget:

Rope plate/Berántótárcsa

Here is the new rope plate created by Art. It fits perfectly to the flywheel.

Itt van az új berántótárcsa is, amit Art készített nekem. Tökéletesen illeszkedik a lendkerékre.

ID label/Adattábla

I think I need a new ID label also, since this is almost unreadable.

Azt hiszem kell egy új adattábla is, mert ez eléggé olvashatatlan.

Cleaning coninue/A tisztítás folytatódik

I started to disassemble the lower unit also to clean it. Here is the result. Just like new.

Elkzedtem a motor csizmáját is szétszedni, hogy le lehessen tisztítani. Íme az eredmény. Mintha új lenne.

The old/new Carburetor/A régi-új porlasztó

The old/new carburetor is ready and it arrived safely. Art did a fine work and now it is mounted to the original air intake. Actually this is a Vacturi carburetor, which were used in the racing outboards.

Elkészült a régi-új porlasztó és meg is érkezett. Szerencsére nem is vámolták el. Art szép munkát végzett és így most már együtt van a porlasztó és a szívótorok. Egyébknt ez egy Vacturi karbutáror, amit verseny csónakmotorokon használtak.
